Lisa joined McDonald and Barranco Capital Wealth Management as an LPL Financial Advisor in 2009. She provides her clients with a wide array of financial advisory and wealth management services through LPL Financial.
Prior to working with McDonald and Barranco, Lisa worked with The Colonial BancGroup, Inc. During her tenure with them, she worked in various financial and accounting positions with responsibility over corporate accounting, internal financial reporting and analysis, SEC and regulatory reporting, and corporate tax. In her latter years at Colonial BancGroup, she was the Director of Investor Relations. While in this role, she worked with investors and analysts to provide information and clarification on the financial matters of the company.
Lisa is a 1988 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in accounting and is a CPA. After graduation Lisa joined KPMG, a “big four” accounting firm, where she provided audit and advisory services to her clients. Her clients consisted of large publicly traded corporations and small not for profit organizations.
Lisa is an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist and is on the board of directors of the Clefworks organization. She is married to John Free, who is also a CPA.
